MEET GRRRUFF

In 1998, Grrruff was brought from Canada into the BI-LO Center in an animal control vehicle as a puck-biting mutt. After 7 years of entertaining millions of fans, the Grrrowl staff noticed that he was losing a step due to the fact that dogs age faster than humans - and he may have eaten a few bad pucks. In October of 2005, Grrruff entered Pepsi's Extreme Makeover Time Machine which made him ageless and re-transformed him into a non-stop, fun-loving, energy-filled wonderdog!
Today you can see Grrruff full of his puppy-like energy at all Grrrowl home games as well as around the community.
